A number of players left the band at the conclusion of the 2009 season, some with many years of dedicated service to the band. Our thanks to Johnny Bassett, Blair Brown, Andrew Elliott, John Elliott, Rachel Gordon, Erin Grant, Josh MacFarlane, Lynda Mackay, Bill Smith, Brandon Thomas and Mike Tuzyk.

While the ink has barely dried on the 2009 season, preparations are well under way for 2010 and another busy year. Practices began in early November with a 2 day rehearsal and the arrival of a number of new players many of whom bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience at the highest levels of play. Joining the band this fall were

Pipe Sergeant Jake Watson; pipers Clarke Abercrombie, Jason Briscoe, Wayne Kennedy, Joel Kimball, Hector MacDonald, Jon Maffett, Adrian Melvin, Andy Millman and James Stewart; snare drummers Ian Bell, Nathan McLaren and Jeremy White; and tenor drummers Jeremy Evans and Sarah McLaren.

A healthy contest schedule combined with a number of appearances on behalf of the Peel Regional Police Service will keep us busy through the 2010 season. Please check back often for updates or join the bands face book group for our comings and goings.
